How are your maps created? How do you have so many cities?

Our maps live at the intersection of human-crafted design and engineering. Our team developed technology that enables us to design new map aesthetics for all of our cities at once. We built systems that take raw geographical data and transform it into the beautiful maps you find on our site. This technology is the foundation that allows us to bring the power of identity of thousands of cities across the globe.

How do you select which cities to map?

We started off with a list of the 5000 most populated United States cities. Of course, due to technically issues, not all the cities were successfully mapped. Since launching, we have been steadily adding more cities and locations based on requests. These new cities included both U.S. and non-U.S. cities.

Why don't you have my city? Why don't you have my city in a style I like?

There are A LOT of cities in the world. If we don't have your city or a style that you like, shoot us a quick message at the bottom of this page. We have added hundreds of cities, both in the U.S. and internationally, because friends like you have requested them. For the most part, if you send a request for a map, we will be able to make it.
